Life With Tools

Primarily trained in restoration, I have over 20 years of workshop experience in cabinet making and both traditional and modern techniques.

I qualified in Oxford, England before working in London for both public and private clients. In 2010 I moved with my family to the Auvergne region of France, where I ran my own workshop for fifteen years.

My specialisms include all aspects of furniture making and restoration, including traditional finishing, veneering, marquetry, boule work, laquer, leatherwork, and paint finishing. 

I look forward sharing some of my knowledge and expertise with you.
